Is this the best Talent Acquisition role that you will apply to today?
We like to grab people’s attention with bold statements. And we love to back them up with a compelling story. This is an incredible opportunity and we are looking for the brightest and best in talent acquisition to join this very well-known retail business. You would know who they are if we told you but we don’t want to ruin the surprise just yet. Where is the fun in that?
What we can tell you is that this is an opportunity to really transform how recruitment operates whilst finding great talent for the business. You will be working with one of the nicest bosses going who believes in encouraging her reports to flourish and work with autonomy. This role is not a tough sell at all.
Role purpose…
Working as part of a close-knit and collaborative team, you will be responsible for recruiting across the corporate functions of HR, Finance, IT & Digital. The emphasis is on direct sourcing and delivering a 360 recruitment service for your client groups.
What will you be doing?
Your immediate focus will be on the following areas:
- Direct sourcing
- The identification of attrition levels by area
- Talent pooling - setting up a funnel of candidates to meet those attrition levels proactively
- The training of Managers on effective recruitment
- Managing people through a robust induction process
- Continual process improvement across onboarding and the candidate experience
Who are we looking for?
We are not looking for a ‘Steady Eddy’. We want to find genuinely passionate individuals that have not yet hit their peak. You will be someone that is on a definite upward trajectory in their career with huge desire to develop and push on in a major business.
Ideally you will have recruited across corporate functions and if you have recruited into digital or ecommerce roles, that would be useful but not essential as you will be given a chance to develop in this area.
It is important that you have a very high level of emotional intelligence and are someone who can establish credibility with client groups quickly. You will be someone who is innovative and challenging and can substantiate the achievements listed on their CV.
You will be able to demonstrate a clear return on investment and value for initiatives that you have both led and implemented. We don’t just want an implementer, we are after someone that seeks continual engagement with stakeholders and has the ability to add value through creative yet practical recruitment solutions.
You should be someone with a real intent of purpose. Someone who can take a vision and really make it happen through great ideas and a desire to see things through to successful completion.
We are not hung up on industry experience, but someone that has worked in retail or hospitality where they have worked at pace, might do well here.
What’s in it for you?
A very real opportunity to progress with a fantastic brand. The person that you will be working for has high expectations and takes development and career management seriously - they don’t just pay lip service to it. You will always seek to improve yourself and help those around you to do the same.
You will get to work with great colleagues who love what they do and will support you in your efforts to deliver on a genuinely exciting talent acquisition agenda.
Why not send us your CV?
It could be the smartest move that you ever make and we are looking for very smart people!
