This is an extremely exciting time to join this business…

This global business that operates in London, Paris & Moscow. They have plans to move into Dubai, Miami and Southern France. The chap that is hiring for this role wants to develop a joined-up approach to resourcing across the organisation. It is a business with 250 people that plans to double in size every year and this is very realistic. They need someone that will be credible with stakeholders throughout the business and has strong talent acquisition experience.

What will be keeping you busy…

This is not just a bums on seats role. They want someone that will genuinely partner with the business. As well as finding great talent, you will help your key stakeholders forecast headcount, review performance issues and plan accordingly. Where there are opportunities to promote high performers, you will develop a talent plan to ensure that you have a pipeline of good people coming through to replace them.

In terms of volume of recruitment, you will have about 50 roles to look after over the course of the year. It is not high volume. Quality is key.

Who are we looking for?

Ultimately you will be a very strong talent acquisition professional that is not afraid to get out and really understand the business. We would like to see at least 5-8 years of solid recruitment experience, primarily gained in-house. We are not hung up on industry experience but technology or professional services or other similar industries might be of interest. This is a period of major change for the recruitment function. We are looking for someone that can look at the bigger picture and see what the Head of Resourcing is working towards and help him achieve that.

You will have full life-cycle recruitment experience and you will be a good networker. Your boss will be someone that likes you to pick up the phone rather than managing everything via email so you need to be comfortable communicating in this way. It is paramount that you have a presence both internally and externally.

Industry experience is not required but if you have navigated your way through a start-up type of business previously then this may help you hit the ground running more quickly.

You will be someone that takes a keen interest in the future of recruitment. The business wants to get the basics right first but will have one eye on developing their strategies for social media, video interviewing and AI. To this end you will always be looking for improvements to be made to the service that you deliver.

This is a great opportunity…

You will be working for one of the nicest bosses around in a great brand with real opportunities for career progression and development. This is not a role that you will want to miss out on.
