Job Title – Colleague Engagement Manager
Location – Predominantly home based *Occasional travel to London but it does not matter where you are based.
Salary – Circa £50k-£60k
Contract Type – Permanent, Full-Time

What will be keeping you busy?
You will create and manage channels to collect, interpret and communicate insights into the colleague experience throughout the business. The successful candidate will partner with all organisational areas to set standards of Colleague connection, consistent with the company vision, mission, and purpose. As a direct result of your work, colleagues will know that sharing feedback and engaging with continuous improvement will have a meaningful impact on how the organisation continues to listen, learn, evolve, and operate.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an engagement and communications professional who ideally has experience of working in a multi-site, HR Business Partnering model and is ready to establish themselves within this exciting opportunity. Someone who can actively design, develop, communicate, and promote all aspects of the colleague voice, creating trust in the power of feedback, enabling continuous improvement in the colleague experience.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience of working in a multi-site HR business partnering model is preferred
- Strong evidence of experience of designing, developing and continuously improving colleague connection
- Courageous leadership, strong advocacy in ensuring important colleague insights are captured, shared, heard and acted upon, especially, though not limited to, senior stakeholders
- Innovative and enthusiastic with the ability to engage and influence with people across an entire organisation.
- Excellent, effective, and personable communicator and influencer, both verbal and written
- Experienced and confident in drawing practical insights from multiple data sets, able to turn such insights into practical actions.
- Commercially aware, able to powerfully connect the importance of Colleague Connection to business performance.
- Experience of driving change, from planning to post implementation evaluation.
- Unquestioned integrity, with the ability to manage, lead and enable others to act cross-functionally.
- Operate as main decision maker in this space, requiring a decisive, yet thoughtful, nature.
- Ability to act with tact and diplomacy alongside a powerful and unflinching ability to speak truth.
- Ability to mediate, manage and resolve workplace conflict.
